Join our Mixing and Mastering Course in London to learn how to mix and master your music to a professional standard. We teach you all the skills you need to finish and start releasing your music. We'll help you establish yourself as a music producer in the industry with 1-to-1 mentorship and advice on how to approach labels.

To make it as an artist in the music industry, you have to be releasing tracks, but it's often the most daunting task for any newbie producer. We've simplified the process with our Mixing and Mastering Course. This course helps you overcome that hurdle and shave years off your production journey.

We will co-engineer your track to make sure it's release-ready. We'll also advise you on how to launch your artist profile and promote your release.

If you choose to release with LSA Records, your track will be available on all major platforms including Beatport, Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon and many more. Alternatively, we can help you self-release your music and advise you on how to approach labels.

Our mixing and mastering lessons are taught with Ableton Live or Logic Pro in our studios in Camden Town, London.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I book my lessons?

Once you buy a course, you will receive an email from us with a link to schedule your lessons. You can choose the day, time and tutor. The schedule is up to you; most students take one or two lessons a week, but feel free to choose when you want to come. Some students who travel quite far to reach us will block-book the lessons to form a crash course. If you'd like to condense your lessons into a shorter time period, like a crash course please contact us to arrange your schedule.

Can I see the available times before buying a course?

We offer lessons seven days a week at 10am, 12pm, 2pm, 4pm, 6pm and 8pm. We have multiple rooms and tutors on site giving you lots of flexibility to choose your own lesson schedule. For last minute bookings please contact us because we can often open up more availlablity for you. You can also check the available lesson times before buying a course by clicking here.

Can I book the lessons with a family member or friend?

Yes. Please contact us to arrange lessons for two or more people.

Do you accept international students?

Anyone can book a course at LSA. Students who are in the UK with a standard visitor visa can take any of our courses. Contact us to arrange your lesson schedule if you want to complete all the courses during a short stay.

Will I receive any course materials?

Yes. When you arrive at the studio, we'll ask you to enrol on the iPads. You'll then receive a welcome email with your course notes attached.

What ages do you teach?

We teach all ages 6 and up in our DJ courses and 8 and up in our production courses. We welcome all ages at LSA and even have students in their 70s.

What should I bring to my first Mixing and Mastering lesson?

You should bring your laptop with your DAW installed. The Mixing and Mastering Course is taught with Ableton Live (Standard or Suite version) or Logic Pro. Please make sure you have some of your projects to show us, we are mainly interested in seeing your most advanced work or completed tracks.

Do I receive a certificate on completion of the Mixing and Mastering course?

Yes. Once you complete the Mixing and Mastering Course you will receive your Master Producer certificate.

Is the Mixing and Master Course taught in-person or online?

As the Mixing and Mastering course is the most advanced production level, it's only taught in-person at the academy.

What styles of music can I learn how to produce?

We can teach you how to produce any style of music.

How many lessons are in the Mixing and Mastering Course?

The Mixing and Mastering Course includes six 2-hour lessons — 12 hours of tuition in total.

Which DAWs do you teach with in the Mixing and Mastering Course?

We use Ableton Live or Logic Pro in our Mixing and Mastering Course.

How do I choose a production tutor to work with?

Once you've booked your course, you'll receive an email with a link to schedule your lessons. You can then choose your day, time and tutor. We recommend using the same tutor for most of your lessons, but you can mix and match.

How do I release my music with LSA Records?

Complete our Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, and Mixing & Mastering courses and then send us your demo submission for review. We will release your finished projects once they meet industry standards. We will also guide you on how to self release music or approach record labels.

Should I practice between production lessons?

Yes. We recommend two hours of practice at home for every two-hour lesson. It's also possible to book a production room at LSA if you want to practice here. Contact us to book a production studio.

Are the lessons fun?

Yes! The lessons are hands-on, and our tutors are very friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere designed to ignite a new passion.

Where is the studio located?

The address is 93a Bayham Street, London, NW1 0AG. It's easy to get to on public transport or by car. The nearest tube station is Camden Town but we are also very close to Camden Road. The closest car park is Lomax on Pratt Street. There are also several buses nearby.
